Various shots on board the carrier show a plane being raised on the deck lift. A pilot gets into the American-built Martlet fighter and takes off. Another plane lands, carrying Rear Admiral Lyster who is welcomed by Captain Talbot, Commander of the ship. More planes take off and land on the ship. A plane is lowered back down on the deck lift.
