The British band Jodo has released a single album, which was released only in the USA at Decca Studios. Only in 2007 the album was reissued on CD. The style is dominated by heavy explosive sounds of guitars, sometimes even “wildly and viciously screaming” in their frenzy. Great songs on the album deserve attention, the ideas of creation and the writing authorship of which belongs to the band members themselves, and the performance, sometimes reminiscent of Coverdail’s vocals, with elements of improvisation, sinks deep into the soul. Overall a very good album. One of those that is surprising because it has not been heard before. Definitely can be considered a classic of style and one of the earliest conceptual albums of hard rock with a bluesy touch. If you like Black Cat Bones and Leaf Hound, you will surely enjoy this album.
