Shigeo Fukuda - A legend, with a sense of humour - agIdeas 2005

The prestigious and wonderfully creative, Shigeo Fukuda, was a renowned sculptor, graphic artist and poster designer famous for the creation of optical illusions. Back in 2005, he joined us all the way from Japan to share with us his massive catalogues of work and together we celabrated his 50 years as a designer. He provided insight into his life. Some of which “Is very crazy“! Most importantly, Shigeo imparted his design ethos and encouraged us to consider graphic design not as a business but as “a culture and visual communication that provides pleasure and happiness”.
