Ponden Hall England

Ponden Hall lies just outside Haworth in West Yorkshire, England and was once the home of the Heaton family from 1541 until 1898. It is now being operated as a marvellous Bed and Breakfast and has a wealth of history including strong ties with the Bronte family throughout their lives. They were regular visitors to the library at Ponden and reputedly drew inspiration from the Hall’s architecture and location for their novels, including the window where in her novel Wuthering Heights, Emily depicted the ghost
