Crews of D-30 howitzers on combat tasks In the South Donetsk direction, in the zone of a special military operation, reconnaissance officers from the Vostok group of troops discovered camouflaged positions with manpower of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The enemy’s coordinates were immediately transmitted to the artillery control point for their destruction. With accurate fire from closed firing positions, artillery crews of 122-mm D-30 howitzers destroyed the Ukrainian militants dug in in their positions. The servicemen spent several minutes from receiving the target to firing the shot, after which the reconnaissance group of the motorized rifle formation adjusted the fire to inflict maximum fire damage on the enemy. The D-30 product is a towed howitzer on a carriage of an original design, intended for firing, incl. direct fire. This weapon has proven its effectiveness more than once.
