ROBOCOP Facts You Didn’t Know! #shorts

Guess what happened during the making of RoboCop? The iconic RoboCop suit was originally designed by Rob Bottin and his team. However, the production team wasn’t entirely satisfied with the initial design and made multiple changes and additions to it over several months. But in the end, they realized that Bottin’s original design was the best after all. Unfortunately, this back-and-forth caused significant delays, and the crew ended up shooting non-suit scenes for two weeks while waiting for the final design. Finally, when the suit was ready, it took a grueling 11 hours to fit Peter Weller, who played RoboCop, into it. Surprisingly, Weller found that all his mime exercises were of no use with the suit on, as it required an entirely different way of moving and performing. Production had to be paused so that Weller and his mime coach, Moni Yakim, could adapt and learn how to move convincingly like a robot in the suit. Crazy, right? #shorts #robocop #didyouknow #moviefacts #moviedetails #robocop2
