Meet Laurita, the Chilean dog who goes shopping for her own food

Subscribe to our channel! A dog has gone viral after word spread of her ability to go out and buy her own food from local pet stores, in the Cabildo commune of the Valparaiso Region in Chile. Laurita, the dog, was seen waiting her turn to be attended while out on a food-run on Friday. She then received her food which was placed into her mouth by the owner of the premises, before making her way back home. Cristian Zaldivar, owner of a Cabildo pet store which the dog frequents, said he saw Laurita as a customer just like any other. “Several anecdotes have passed with her because when she entered here and came out with the bag, many times people thought that she was a dog that is stealing food, like a Mechera [name for commercial thieves in Chile] but it is not like that, it is like one more client of ours,“ he said.
