Australia’s mining industry clashes with indigenous groups

Rio Tinto’s CEO stepped down after the company destroyed a 46,000-year old sacred Indigenous site in Australia. CEO of the National Native Title Council Jamie Lowe said traditional communities “put a line in the sand” and that “we are tired of our sites being desecrated.”
