Hedge Trimming (1953)

Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire. Various shots of topiary bushes crafted by Mr Gunning. The bushes are all in the shapes of human figures, birds and animals. They are scattered all over his garden. Two hedges seem to be cut into male and female heads. Mr Gunning trims a bird bush, then puts a branch in the mouth of a bush trimmed to look like Winston Churchill. He then shakes two ’boxer’ shapes, to make it look like they are fighting. Cutting on file. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
