Shanghai was under a strict lockdown in an effort to uphold China’s zero-COVID policy. For quite some time we weren’t able to conduct any street interviews in Shanghai because of that but now that the city officially lifted the lockdown, we were curious to hear what life has been like for the locals. Was it as severe and dystopian as the western media portrayed it to be? What’s the current mood of the city and are things really back to normal? Our Asian Boss reporter hit the streets of Shanghai to find out.
