Worcester. A re-enactment of the departure of the Pilgrim Fathers’ ship the Mayflower, bound for America. M/S of a group of people dressed in period costumes outside quaint thatched cottages. One of the women appears to be dressed as Elizabeth I ( if so this is historically inaccurate ), she is presenting something to one of the men. M/S of men and women dressed as Puritans, two men in large black hats appear to be signing an agreement.
