Howdy ya’ll. Welcome back. Today we will look at a vast collection of highly detailed photographs by Timothy H. O’Sullivan of the Civil War landscapes throughout Pennsylvania, including Gettysburg, as well as the many forts of Virginia and other significant locations. These are some of the earliest photographs I’ve seen with so much intricate detail, and these images allow us a rare glimpse into the time period of mid-19th century America during the Civil War.
