It allows you to block in your schedule or calendar the time you need to spend tackling a specific task or going to a certain event. This micro-management can be incredibly useful if you need to juggle a lot of different activities or areas of interest, if you have an uneven schedule that doesn’t allow space for strict routines or simply to get a birds-eye view of your time and understand what you can accomplish at any given time. However, despite being quite useful, engaging in calendar blocking incorrectly can become pretty overwhelming pretty fast.
