Russia Tense: France deploys troops and combat equipment to Ukraine

French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal confirmed French President Emmanuel Macron’s words about deploying troops to Ukraine and explained the potential purpose of the move. He conveyed this in the Senate when asked about Emmanuel Macron’s statement. Attal noted that the possible deployment of troops would not be aimed at participating in combat operations on the front lines but for support in the rear. He explained that supporting Ukraine is very important because if the country falls, the European Union and France in particular will be in a dangerous position.
