Alexei Navalny funeral: Mourners gather in Moscow as Russian opposition leader to be laid to rest

Hundreds of mourners have gathered outside the church in Moscow where Alexei Navalny’s funeral will be held on Friday. Photographs show substantial crowds behind barriers which were seen being erected by workers the day before. Russian riot police officers have also been pictured near the church.
