Jake Rebman, “Melatonin & Time Machines“ -- Middle Of Nowhere Music

Middle Of Nowhere Music presents, Jake Rebman, performing solo from the band, Jake Rebman & The Waitin’ Rounders, with his original song, “Melatonin & Time Machines”. We had heard about Jake through the grapevine that grows in small towns near Peoria, IL. After a little research on good ole YouTube, we realized that Jake is a heck of songwriter. At only 22 years old, Jake has heaps of originals, and it’s quite clear that he can write songs with the best of them. We met Jake the for the first time the day of the video (May 11th, 2023 to be exact) at Camp Wokanda in Peoria, IL. Jake told us, “I don’t have much of a stage presence, you’ll see,” but we beg to differ. His songs tell a story that blends his own insights of the world with a touch of his imagination in a way that reminds me of simpler times. We wrapped up the video shoot pretty quickly and parted ways. Jake said he was off to mow his grandma’s yard and make friends with his new kitten. This seems to be a direct reflection of his genuine character. We think he’s an all around great guy and truly believe you will be seeing his name again as he continues to put his music into the world.
