Why do foreigners granted asylum in the West bring their wars with them and create violence?

Whether it is Eritreans or Sikhs, some groups of refugees in Europe, North America and even Israel are determined to continue their wars in the countries which give them sanctuary. They flee political violence and then start it going in the countries which have given them shelter.
