Italy: Maskless Roma fans give team a jubilant send-off before trip to Manchester

Subscribe to our channel! Dozens of A.S. Roma fans, giving little to no interest to COVID restrictions, gave their team a joyful send-off at the Fulvio Bernardini sports centre in Rome on Wednesday. The Roma squad was preparing to board the bus to their airport as the fans gave them a send off. The team was on their way to Manchester for the Europa League semifinals to face Manchester United at Old Trafford. The fans waved flags and belted Italian football anthems to encourage the football team as the team bus departed. Some players even thanked the fans as they stood on the sports centre balcony. “’Listen and you will hear our voice, look and you will see us by your side. Rome is with you,“ one banner read.
