Steel-Capped Boots (1952)

Steel-capped boots. Rushden, Northamptonshire; and London. M/S of a double-decker bus, George Denton walks up to it with some other men, he is carrying shoe boxes. He takes the lid off one to reveal steel-capped shoes. M/S as he puts a pair on and another man measures the size of the toecap. George then sticks his foot under the wheel of the bus and it drives back and forth over it. M/S showing the shoe has not been dented at all. M/S of a heavy crate. M/S as it is levered up and dropped on the foot of another worker wearing steel-capped shoes. He takes his foot out of the shoe afterwards and they lever the crate up to get the shoe out.
