In this video, we modify the firmware so that uploaded JPEG files are played in sequence. We then go over the steps on how to take a video and turn it into a sequence of frames of the appropriate pixel size (resolution) to be displayed in the LED matrix. ========== • Related vids: Getting started with the WeMos ESP8266 Development Board: ========== • Project parts: ACROBOTIC WeMos Development Kit for ESP8266: (affiliate) ACROBOTIC WeMos D1 Mini V2 Development Board for ESP8266: (affiliate) ACROBOTIC WeMos D1 Mini Proto Shield for ESP8266: (affiliate) ACROBOTIC WeMos D1 Mini 2×1 Board Shield for ESP8266: (affiliate) ACROBOTIC 8×8 WS2812/NeoPixel matrix: (affiliate) ========== • Project code: Firmware for the Arduino IDE: ========== • Tutorials: Detailed guide for getting started with the WeMos ESP8266 Development Board: More info on color correction: More info about Flash Memory on the ESP8266: ========== • Sponsor: This video was sponsored by PCBWay ========== • Music: Epidemic Sound ().
