Pupil Slicer-Mirrors:Full Album (Hardcore/mathcore/Mathgrind)

While usually I try and post smaller and/or unsigned bands I want to make an exception for Pupil Slicer and their brand of spastic, extreme metal. I stumbled across Pupil Slicer late into 2021 and was blown away by this record. Even more so when I found out they were a power trio. (I have always been jealous of people who can play guitar and do vocals simultaneously.) Hailing from the UK, Pupil Slicer combine elements of grindcore, death metal, hardcore punk, and more into this super crazy frenzy of noise. Mirrors often reminds me Converge too. While I’ve seen Pupil Slicer being hyped up online I think they’re one of those bands that really deserves the praise they get. Be sure to pick up a copy on vinyl or cassette while they are still available!
