Duke3D 9410 (.exe dated Oct 7)

Oct 7th 1994 Duke3D pre-release late 1994 ~2 months before Lameduke (December 30th) Came with everything except maps. Maps shown here are from December Just few months ago in Duke3D’s development the plan was to have an “inner city“ campaign as the first episode (volume) and a Christmas 1994 release as indicated by a promo splash screen hidden in ART. This version contains quite many of the things seen 2 months later but in a much rougher state. Many of the proposed earlier concepts such as powerups are still sort of here but would be shortly scrapped in favor of an inventory system and some additional textures used in non-city maps are making their first appearance. One big notable difference is the complete absence of the CON system! Almost all of the actor AI you see here is exclusive to this build and shows interesting behavior inspired by early plans where shot enemies would flee and some times trip down and rise up.
