The film was developed for the National Institute of Mental Health and produced by Extension Media Center at the University of California, Los Angeles, with Gary Schlosser as Executive Producer, Manager Edward Kutner as Production Manager, and with the assistance of Kathy McGinnis and Gene Kopp. The film is photographed by Bernard Selling with the assistance of Kit Kalionzes, edited by Harry Keramidas with the assistance of Mary Ellen Tokunow, with sound by Rol Murrow, and conceptual writing by Vaughn Obern and Hal Gelb. He instructs them to have an argument (19:40), so the students pretend to be arguing with each other while laughing (19:42). All the students stand with their eyes closed (19:55).
