Hasselfelde (small 1/87 H0 narrow gauge layout) at the MSKK 33d train weekend of Ostend

This narrow gauge layout is representing a part of the “Unterharz“ in the German Democratic Republic, short after the end of the republic’s existence. The economic activity is based on charcoal and wood. The layout had the atmosphere of a disappearing rural atmosphere, and looks much like a live artistic painting. The model train club MSKK organises once a year a two day exposition and secondhand model trains market in Ostend.
