Begleri Tutorial 1 - String Length (Beginner)

Begleri tutorial! This is what is bound to be a long series of tutorials showing different begleri tricks, styles, grips, and combos. We’re starting at the beginning with string length. This is probably the most common question I get (apart from “when and where and how can I get your begleri!)... String length is really a player preference, and different lengths result in different kinds of tricks being possible, and different styles of play. I’ve found that I can do a wider range of tricks with a fairly long string. This video shows the length we recommend as the standard “wukong“ length, and how to measure it in proportion to the size of your hand. For me, it works out to about 13cm between beads, and a total length (before knots) of about 27cm.
