Geometric UV Neon String Art | STRING FOR DAYSSS 😁

We love ARTY stuff and we love WOODWORK - So, why not combine them! This was some fiddly stuff, but we nailed it! (excuse the pun) We decided to combine ART with WOOD in this video. We created a simple square base from OSB using a circular saw, measuring 50x50cm. We gave it a sand, bevelled the edges and curved the corners so it looks NOICE! Then with a pencil, ruler and protractor in hand, we marked out the layout for the nails. This consisted of 16 lines with 19 nails needed in each, making a grand total of 304 nails. These had to be precisely hammered in so we could correctly wrap the neon string / thread around them to create the mandala geometric pattern. We given the base and nails a quick touch up with matt black spray paint. Once dry we began the fiddly string part which we did in stages.
