January 2022. My dog’s back legs get suddenly paralyzed and he couldn’t walk anymore. Something that broke my heart. Acceptance of this new condition was very difficult for both. I cried while remembering our walks on the mountains or running through the fields during the last 12 years together, realizing that it could not happen again. My dog really didn’t want to accept this situation either, and some days later he was able to get back on his four legs. My first thought was, just like the title of the song, The Power of Love. I’m so used to walking beside him that even in my dreams, we walk together. This video narrative is actually based on the dream I had a time ago. Chasing wolves represent to me the threat of remaining time, but we escape them. With this song I wanted to express the strong bond and unconditional love we might experience with dogs.
