These three compositions are the result of Lester’s collaboration with producer/composer Alex M0NF0RT. From one track to another, the group explores various musical styles ranging from rap/R&B to soul, incorporating classical and jazz elements. The rhythm section performing in this live session is part of the team that will accompany Lester on stage to promote the new EP. Strings and brass instruments have been specially invited to enrich the arrangement. Lester Getz was born in England, but it was when he moved to the United States (Boston and then New York) that he discovered jazz and hip-hop and began rapping. Now based in Paris, he learned to play flamenco guitar during the lockdown and presents here his first live performance as a guitarist. Word from the artist:
