Iran has claimed that 5,000 American troops are taking part in Israel’s offensive in Gaza against Hamas. According to Iran’s security sources, Israel’s assault on Gaza involved three divisions, several brigades, and the involvement of 5,000 US military personnel. Iranian news agency Tasnim reported that Israel Defence Forces (IDF) attempted to enter the enclave from several areas in the north, west, and southwest to split the Gaza Strip into two or three sections.
