Villanova-Bound Jalen Brunson Wins State Title in Emotional Final HS Game, Scoring 30!

Jalen Brunson led Illinois preseason favorite Stevenson HS (Lincolnshire, IL) to its first State Basketball title. In their third consecutive trip downstate to Peoria, the Patriots become the first team in Lake County history to win a basketball title. Brunson scored 30 in the title game leading Stevenson (30-3) to a 57-40 win over Normal, setting new high-scoring record for Class 4A final.
