II“, which includes remixes by the talented US-based Reggie Dokes and British wunderkind Last Nubian. Based in Bogotá, the co-founder of the electronic music duo Rush City and record label Nómada now delivers this wonderful EP as a precursor to his full album coming out with Blur Records later this year entitled “Like The Summer Sun“. The opening track entitled “Like The Summer Sun“ is a vibrant and captivating composition with its calming yet upbeat tempo, featuring a prominent housey vocal that perfectly encapsulates its infectious energy, in this wonderful soundtrack for a summer day. The second track is the heavy-duty “Beat Em Up“ remix of “Like The Summer Sun“ by Reggie Dokes, which features pounding drums and driving basslines, alongside a melodic synth breakdown and a gospel-choir-infused vocal that creates a powerful and uplifting atmosphere. Next, we have “Let’s Keep It Real“ the second original track by the Columbian producer, a combination of fiery Caribbean rhythms, colourful drums, and vibrant chords. The track features a punchy bassline that drives the song’s infectious groove, while the fast-paced percussion keeps the energy high. The second remix is by the talented London-based producer Last Lubian, who delivers a wonderful reinterpretation of “Let’s Keep It Real“, with its driving bassline and infectious hook, Last Lubian brings a club-ready energy to the track, with a combination of synths, samples and live instrumentation that creates a unique, contemporary sound.
