Frogmen Firemen (1957)

East Ham, London. M/S of a telephonist sitting at his desk writing something while on the telephone. C/U shot of his hand as he writes. He turns around and rings the fire alarm. C/U shot of the bell ringing. M/S of a fireman as he slides down the pole and runs towards the fire engine. M/S of a man climbing up the fire engine. This is East Ham fire station which has introduced a special unit - frogmen firemen. M/S of the firemen climbing into the fire engine. M/S of the two frogmen getting ready for action. C/U of their hands picking up their flippers and goggles. M/S of the frogmen as they run towards the fire engine and get on. L/S of the fire engine driving off. Several shots of the fire engine driving through the busy London streets with its siren on. This is an exercise which will demonstrate the work of the first frogmen firemen unit in Britain.
