Lupins (1960)

M/S panning right looking out over a field of lupins in amazing blocks of colours of gold, orange, red, purple, mauve and white at the Baker Nursery in Boningale, Wolverhampton; we see Thomas Reeves walk past in gardening clothes and boots. M/S of a section of lupins of all different colours as TR walks among them and puts a large wooden stake in the ground; commentator says “The cultivation of lupins has advanced so much in recent years that these are as yet unnamed varieties from which cuttings will be taken for even more different types of the future“. C/Us of TR putting the stake in, and making notes on a pad; M/S and C/U of him doing same in another section.
