Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell starred in the 1929 Fox Film “Sunnyside Up,” which introduced this and several other new DeSylva, Brown, and Henderson song hits, including the title song on the flip side: Per Brian Rust, the additional vocal effects on this track were by band members Joe Venuti (vn) and possibly Hoagy Carmichael (p).
