Lake Mead Is Drying Up Before Our Eyes!

Today I’m going to show you the most recent conditions of the drought taking place in Southern Nevada at Lake Mead. The latest update says the water level has declined about 6 feet just from last month. In this video you will see one of the boats that has been found sticking out of the water is now sticking out of the mud because of how much the water has gone down lately. This shortage has had an impact on Lake Powell, Hoover Dam and Glen Canyon Dam in Arizona. The most recent lake levels are around 1,045 feet. If the water continues to dry up, then eventually the lake will reach “dead pool“ level, which will cut off California, Arizona and Mexico because water will no longer be able to flow from Hoover Dam. The big news was about a month ago when several bodies and barrels were found in Lake Mead. Now the lake has reached levels of inactive pool. Since then there has been more and more media attention surrounding the drought and how the water levels are impacting the Las Vegas area.
