Florida issues evacuation orders ahead of Hurricane Milton arrival

People in Florida are rushing to pick up the pieces from Hurricane Helene as they prepare for the arrival of another hurricane. Hurricane Milton has rapidly intensified into a Category 5 storm while off the coast of Mexico, packing winds of around 250 kilometres per hour. Florida officials are already urging residents to evacuate ahead of the storm’s arrival. Milton is set to slam into the already-battered sunshine state on Wednesday with another round of potentially catastrophic weather conditions.
