A Conversation with Michael Jackson, “The Beer Hunter“ (THE LONG VERSION)
MICHAEL JACKSON, known to many as “The Beer Hunter,“ nearly single-handedly saved Belgian craft beer from extinction and led the U.S. out of the Bud-guzzling dark ages of the 1970’s.
He was the most famous beer writer and beer advocate in the world, with over two dozen published books, countless articles, and his own television series, “The Beer Hunter.“
On August 7th, 2007, Daniel Shelton interviewed Michael Jackson at his home in London, England. They discussed Michael’s writings, his childhood, early years in journalism, his long battle with Parkinson’s disease, and his plans for the future. Unfortunately this was the last interview Jackson did, he passed away three weeks later at his home on August 30th.
This interview has been cut in long takes, so as to truly experience what it was like to talk with Michael, and his many “digressions.“
