Olonkho, Heroic Epos from Siberia. Timofei Stepanov’s paintings. Ayarkhaan’s music.

Today I had a plenty of time. So, created this slideshow to tell a story about Olonkho. As I wrote in one of my blog posts, the Yakutia-based artist Timofei Stepanov (he passed away, unfortunately) had a great gift to illustrate Olonkho, the Sakha heroic epos, in one painting. And, one piece contained many small stories. That’s why he was called the Olonkho story-teller in the fine arts. Here’s the link to the post:
