MONUMENTUM

MONUMENTUM - Monument. This film explores neglected monuments in Eastern Europe constructed during Socialist or Communist periods. I traveled many weeks all over Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Croatia to film this project. I was very fortunate to interview with Miodrag Zivkovic shortly before he passed away and capture his story. The film is inspired by the book “Socialist Architecture - The Vanishing Act” by Armin Linke & Srdjan Jovanovic Weiss.
