Acanthophis sp. “Dajarra“ (Dajarra Death Adder) Caudal Luring

I just love the caudal luring action and can not stop myself filming whenever one of my Deathies start doing it. Caudal luring is essentially an animal using the end of it’s tail to attract attention of the prey items. Ambush predators use this technique a lot instead of roaming for food like a cobra or a mamba would do. The animal places itself in a busy area where prey animals use and starts moving the tail.
