Cocaine Godmother - Griselda Blanco Kills Her Husband and His Mistress

Here is one of my favorite clips from the film “Cocaine Godmother - The Griselda Blanco Story” staring Catherine Zeta-Jones. Regardless of public opinion - who most likely have never seen the film - of all the actresses who have played Griselda Blanco, Catherine Zeta-Jones, regardless of her race, nailed the role perfectly. She was so good in fact, that if we are only going to disqualify her for being Welsh playing a Columbian, then we might as well penalize Al Pacino for playing a Cuban in “Scarface”, condemn the majority of the cast who played Puerto Ricans in the movie “West Side Story”, and the majority of the actors who played the Corleone’s in “The Godfather”. Catherine Zeta Jones’ performance is worthy to be apart of that class. I do admit - this film was good, but it was too short. It should have been a multi-episode mini-series. One of the reasons is because I loved Catherine Zeta-Jones’ performance so much as “La Madrina”, that I wanted to see more of her rather than just for 100 minutes. Nevertheless, it is what it is, and it was not bad. I will be showcasing another clip of this film on this channel. If you haven’t seen the movie, I recommend you see it.
