Keto Marzipan | Vegan Dairy Free

Marzipan is a light, candy-like mixture made by mixing finely-ground almonds with sweetener, water or egg whites. Some say it’s originated in Persia, but others claim it came from Germany, Spain, Italy or France. While its origins are vague, one thing is clear: It has become famous for it’s simplicity and delicious taste. Making marzipan from scratch is easier than you think. Furthermore, it’s a lot cheaper than store-bought. This homemade marzipan contains only 4 ingredients and it’s ready in less than 5 minutes. INGREDIENTS 1 ½ cups (150g) blanched almond flour ⅓ cup (65g) powdered erythritol or more 3 tablespoons (45mL) water 1 teaspoon (5mL) almond extract or vanilla extract unsweetened cocoa powder for marzipan balls Feel free to make it into a bite-sized marzipan balls or log.
