Seleucids vs Parthia | Massive Cinematic Total War Battle

It’s the year 139 BC and Mithridates I of Parthia faces off Demetrius II of the Seleucids in a massive cinematic Total War battle. The Seleucids empire battled vs the Parthians for the last decade and by 141 BC, the region of Mesopotamia and Babylonia were lost to the Parthian Empire. Mithridates was busy to deal with an invasion in the east when he got word that Demetrius, the Seleucid kings was planning an attack on Seleucia to retake the city. Demetrius II had success initially until Mithridates I arrived back from the east with his army of veteran cataphracts. The Parthians had a total of 22,000 men with a serious cavalry power. The Seleucid Empire brought a total of 17,000 men. Their silver shield veterans had seen a lot of fighting and were ready to face off the Parthians. In the end, Mithridates overwhelmed the Seleucid king and captured him, effectively ending the Seleucid claims to the regions beyond the Euphrates river.
