Waisea Nayacalevu MOST DANGEROUS FIJIAN | Tributeᴴᴰ

Waisea and his brother, Avenisi Vasuinubu, both played in the Victoria Rugby Championships for Melbourne Rugby. In 2012, the brothers decided to join the Uprising team for the Uprising 7’s competition in Fiji. They performed so well that both brothers were chosen to play for the Fiji 7s team in the 2011–12 IRB Sevens World Series. Waisea was a standout performer that season, scoring 25 tries, tying him with another developing star, Metuisela Talebula. He was named to Fiji’s 15-man roster for the 2012 IRB Pacific Nations Cup. He made his Fiji debut on the right flank against Japan, scoring a try. Two weeks later, he scored against Scotland. Following his success in the PNC, he was acquired by French club Stade Français and made his debut against Montpellier in August 2012.
