My response to A critique of Pakistani Pipes on Facebook.

Recently, I saw a critique of of Pakistani Bagpipes on a Facebook Forum about the quality of the pipes and how they won’t hold tone or are completely unusable and the poor quality of manufacture. I’m sure the critique is valid in some ways, but there are reputable Pakistani pipe manufacture-ers out there. This particular set is from Hakam Din and for a starter set of pipes I think they would be perfect, and.... if a person decides that the Pipes are not for them, they aren’t stuck with a set of $2000 wall hangers. They say it’s the small things that count. Balance Tone drone reeds, Warnock Chanter, Shepherd Chanter reed. Moose Valve, and the potential cost of getting lessons locally (not from me of course LOL). My goal is to shine a light onto the path of potentially becoming a GREAT piper, if you choose the path.
