Intended for the treatment of infections caused by sensitive microorganisms especially for infections caused by gram-positive bacteria, anaerobic bacteria, and some gram-negative bacteria such as E. coli, Klebsiella and P. mirabilis. Description Airway infections: Tonsillitis, pharyngitis, pneumonia, bronchitis, bronchiectasis, lung abscess, empyema, pleurisy, sinusitis, laryngitis, otitis media. Urinary tract infections: Pyelonephritis, cystitis, adnexitis, endometritis. Infections of the skin and soft tissues: Lymphangitis, abscesses, cellulitis, decubitus ulcers mastitis, furunculosis, erisipelas. It is not recommended for upper respiratory tract infections and otitis media caused by H. influenzae.
