In this video we will be exploring the German artist Anselm Kiefer’s exhibition titled Finnegans Wake at the White Cube gallery in Bermondsey, London. The gallery’s usual minimal space has been completely transformed into some sort of underworld filled with objects. In this exhibition, the artist draws inspiration from James Joyce’s experimental novel , Finnegans Wake, which was published in 1939. This exhibition completes a trilogy of Kiefer’s exhibitions at the White Cube Gallery.
