Smirnov Fencing 1982 Part 1

Reigning World and Olympic Champion Vladimir Smirnov in Training for the 1982 Rome World Championships. Smirnov was killed by his opponents broken blade in a freak accident during the team event in Rome . This is a tribute to Smirnov and his family from me and all those who saw him fence and were inspired by his skills .
