Beipanjiang Bridge in SW China officially world’s highest bridge

China’s Beipan River Bridge, located at the border between the southwestern provinces of Yunnan and Guizhou, has been officially certified as the highest bridge in the world by the Guinness World Records recently. Spanning over the 600-meter-deep U-shaped canyon of the Beipan River, the bridge is 1,341.4 meters long, and the vertical distance from the bridge floor to the river surface is 565.4 meters.
