B-2A SPIRIT’s 1ST INTERNATIONAL AIR DISPLAY! - 1995 LONDON (CANADA) INTERNATIONAL AIRSHOW (JUNE ’95)

The London International Airshow, established in London, Ontario, Canada in 1974, became famous for being one of the best, modern military airshows on the North American continent (and still is), as well as being an airshow known for “firsts“. On the first weekend of June, 1995, the Northrop B-2A SPIRIT, from the 509th Bomb Wing, located at Whiteman AFB, Missouri, flew for the first time at an airshow outside of the United States, making 2 passes for the crowd in London before departing for home. The fly by was part of a multi purpose training flight, with the priority being a fly past in Virginia for an ACC change of command ceremony, so the head of the London Airshow requested, and received, approval for the aircraft to visit on the way home, making it the first official, non U.S display of the types service career.
